Family owned home cooked food. What more could you ask for? Anything you get here is good and priced so well. Service is always amazing. Been coming here for years and won't stop!

My boyfriend wanted to pick where we going for dinner and he decided on Hanover Cafe, I had never been before. I loved the atmosphere. We had a special that night on the menu, the pulled BBQ. I asked for mashed potatoes and green beans as my sides. I was NOT DISAPPOINTED. The mashed potatoes didn't taste instant and the green beans were full of flavor! After the meal i had to get dessert. If the dinner was that good, I could not imagine how good the dessert would be. My boyfriend and I split the peach cobbler with a scoop of ice cream. I honestly did not want to share it with him. It was a wonderful meal with amazing service!

This is one of our favorite places to go for breakfast. You get a LOT of food for your money, and it's always good and served with a smile. They do a brisk breakfast business, but we have never had to wait long for a table, they are good about getting you in and out quickly if you need to, but never making you feel rushed.
This was one of the first restaurants we braved when my son was little, and it remains one of his favorite places to eat. They are always so kind to him, with our waitress even carrying him around with her on one visit when he was fussy so I "could eat while it was still hot" after she saw me preparing to take him outside. When he really liked his breakfast one day he proclaimed really loudly "I LOVE bacon!" The cook heard and sent him out another couple of pieces.
The owner (or manager, I'm not sure but she is very kind) almost always stops by to check on us, and the whole place has a very local, friendly feel. There was some road construction going on out front one hot day when we visited, and they sent out some water for the guys and told them they were welcome to come in and cool off and use the restroom. Nice people, nice place, good food. -

While looking for somewhere to eat near Kings Dominion that wasn't either a) a truck stop b) Burger King or c) Denny's, we ended up finding this hidden gem. The food was great and the service was awesome! Our kids devoured their lunches with no complaints. The burger and chicken philly were awesome. The fries were super crispy and delicious. The sweet tea was perfect and very quenching on hot, summer day. Would definitely go again!
